Rick joined Broadfoot & Associates in 2005, after 12 years experience in the legal field. His practice focuses on family court cases, representing individuals in divorce, parentage, and support matters. He also represents individuals in probate court, handling adoptions and guardianship proceedings.
Rick maintains a busy family court and criminal defense practice. His background as a public defense attorney for the Rutland Public Defender’s Office and as a contract attorney for Chittenden County Public Defender’s system helped prepare him to handle cases that range from minor infractions to serious felony charges.
He also serves as a guardian ad litem, regularly representing the interests of children in Family Court.
Rick lives in Addison, where he enjoys spending time working outdoors with his dogs.
