Debi began her career at Broadfoot & Associates after an extensive work history in finance related positions. She works as a paralegal in complex family court cases and civil actions, and coordinates all residential real estate transactions at Broadfoot & Associates.

Debi spent 15 years working in the secondary loan market at Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, during which time she obtained a master’s in business administration at the University of Vermont. Her work at VSAC included preparing for large bond issues and collaborating with lawyers representing financial institutions locally and out of state to address all aspects of these complicated commercial transactions. This detail work prepared her to work in the bond market with a private investment company in Montpelier, where she advised clients as to the propriety of various investment options. Now, while working as a paralegal with Broadfoot & Associates, Debi is also enrolled in a full time clerkship program with the Vermont Bar Association. She plans to apply for admission to the Vermont Bar Association in 2010.

Debi’s time away from work is mostly focused on caring for her animals. She can usually be found at the barn where she boards her horses or at her home in Georgia with her cats.
